Community Outreach
Chosen to Serve has an entry to community outreach programs in Duval County. Mental health is also a major concern and is intrinsically linked to overall well-being, which is why Chosen to Serve has plans to provide mental health services on an individual and community basis. The primary aim of our community outreach programs is to bring members of the community closer together so we can all work together in harmony to assist one another.
Food Donations
Food donations are provided by our partner we distrubute the items once a month to the homeless, families or individuals in need of food. This is great for communal cohesion and creates a wonderful atmosphere within the society.
Awareness classes
We ensure that people are well aware of their rights and responsibilities so they can become better citizens of society. Awareness is also key in helping people realize all the opportunities they may have available so they can stay focused. This includes career counseling so young people can identify their future path in life and not get involved in a life of crime.
